Representatives meet in parliament AT LEAST once a week. Here issues that press the nation are discussed. Parliament discussion and decision making is supervised by a Prime Representative, which is re-elected every month or if all representatives chose to remove the current Prime Representative. Just to clarify, Prime Representative only supervises parliament conversation, representatives make the decisions, and the citizens vote for them. &lt;br /&gt;

Representatives have to agree to laws, however, changes to government structure must be agreed on by all citizens. &lt;br /&gt;

If population is ever extremely low, government function and structure may be altered.&lt;br /&gt;

= Citizenship =&lt;br /&gt;
To become a citizen, you must receive permission from the Prime Representative. Directly contact the Prime Representative, and do not bother citizens or representatives if not needed. Only contact once if possible, and if you receive no response within 2-3 days, applicants are advised to simply contact representatives or citizens for information or assistance communicating with the Prime Representative. Just remember, it&#039;s not the job of anyone but the Prime Rep. to deal with applicants, so don&#039;t bother them too much. &lt;br /&gt;

Besides citizenship, citizens from other nations are allowed unless citizens of certain nations are blacklisted.&lt;br /&gt;

Dual Citizenship is not allowed.&lt;br /&gt;

Representatives have to agree to laws, however, changes to government structure must be agreed on by all citizens. &lt;br /&gt;

If population is ever extremely low, government function and structure may be altered.&lt;br /&gt;

To become a citizen, you must receive permission from the Prime Representative. Directly contact the Prime Representative, and do not bother citizens or representatives if not needed. Only contact once if possible, and if you receive no response within 2-3 days, applicants are advised to simply contact representatives or citizens for information or assistance communicating with the Prime Representative. Just remember, it&#039;s not the job of anyone but the Prime Rep. to deal with applicants, so don&#039;t bother them too much. &lt;br /&gt;

The King of Belmonte would deny the Khan&#039;s demand, causing the Khanate to begin preparations for the raid. During this time, the King of Belmonte would flee the city, never to be seen again. When the Tsagaani forces entered the city they were met with a volunteer brigade from the [[ Aranna|Lysoborian Host.]] It was during this battle that the Tsagaani chief of war, Baudilla, would distinguish himself as one of the most skilled military leaders in the region. As time went on, the Syradine and Íster people found that there were not so different from one another. When Acolytius of Istraks joined Syradine as a dual citizens, proper talks of unification began.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These talks started on the 15th of December 2023. The ultimate goal was to fully form a new, single identity for Ritannia. That is why the governments chose for a competely new nation and form of government, and not a simple unification. There were concerns during the talks that Syradine politics would overpower that of Istraks. The majority of Ritannia would be from Syradine, and some were concerned that the people of Istraks would be forgotten. Though even with this concern, the talks continued with a focus on cooperation between the two nation states. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Other pronames for Ritannia during the unification talks were: Eidolon, Tulapia, Celestria, Santambria, Netalon and the Cinnamon Isles. The people eventually voted for the &#039;&#039;Republic of Ritannia&#039;&#039;.&lt;br /&gt;

==== The Istraki King ====&lt;br /&gt;
Another problem arose, in the form of the King of Istraks, Munke. The League of Syradine their members were staunch anti-monarchists, and would not want a King to have status and power in this new proposed union. Luckily for them, there was a revolution in Istraks that overthrew the monarchy and usurped most of the King&#039;s political power. The King agreed that he would have no position of power in Ritannia, instead opting for a symbolic position because of the history behind their royal house, as was the case in Istraks. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Syradinesian Asheyla of Selûne proposed not even having the Istraki monarchy be mentioned in the Ritannian constitution, as she was of the opinion that it was one of many things that would hold Ritannia back from forming a new cultural identity, seperate from Syradine and Istraks. This gained support in the unification talks, and agreed upon by Syradine and Istraks.&lt;br /&gt;

To fully achieve the goal of forming a new identity, Syradine and Istraks wanted to create a new style of government, and not simply decide to adopt an existing one. Syradine followed a long tradition of democracy, and wanted to continue this in Ritannia. Acolytius, the driving force in Istraks behind the unification, agreed with this, and managed to convince the King of Istraks. It was decided that the people of Ritannia would vote for their leader, the Grand Vizier, and for the respective ministries in Ritannia. &lt;br /&gt;

Long before the nation of Arboria even existed, the initial Testifikaan village that made up the original settlement of Verdania was a now defunct nation, Circosia [-2500, -1000]. Circosia would be dissolved on the 1st of January, 2024.&lt;br /&gt;

Following the abandonment, the first settlers of Arboria, Moth and VexForce, arrived in the Testifikaan village on the 16th of March, 2024. Whilst VexForce would go off to become a citizen under the Monarchy of Yergola, Moth would develop the lands into a stateless city. Many individuals would come and go, notable builders being [[Yohn Othan]] (of Nauticca) and Zin Hue (of the [[Tsagaan Khanate]]), and even an equine breeder and trainer, SheepKingSheep. Within the unnamed stateless city would entail rapid development over the course of a week. During this time, iconic landmarks such as the Verdania Community House, the Verdania Trading Hall, the &#039;Studio Ghibli&#039; House, and the Great Tree would be constructed. Much infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and a canal would also be constructed.&lt;br /&gt;

The Great Tree would become the very heart and soul of the city of Verdania, along with the very nation of Arboria, as it would influence the actions of the government and the cultural beliefs of the Arborian people and their affinity with nature.&lt;br /&gt;

The region in which the stateless city was founded was very active. It was surrounded on just about every side by other nations. The idea of the city being claimed over was a concern of Moth for sometime. Foreign scouts looking to claim over this region only raised concerns further.&lt;br /&gt;

On the 4th of April, 2024, Representative Moth would begin conversations with representatives from both Cauldra and Nauticca to discuss cultivating relationships with one another on behalf of their proximity with one another and their placement in the West.&lt;br /&gt;

Under the influence of large doses of alcohol brewed in the newly constructed Golden Keg Inn, Arannese officials [[Tristram Whitestrake|Tristram]] and [[Scarlet Crimson|Scarlet]] demanded from Cauldra guarantees for land already under Arannese military control. Upon a request to remove the railway, the Cauldran government obliged and retained its village within the lowlands of the region, though its ownership of the territory was short-lived, as right after the Cauldran monarchy was couped and the Cauldran PM fled the nation, leaving the village unattended, Aranna demanded the return of the territory in the &#039;&#039;&#039;Second Ultimatum&#039;&#039;&#039;. Following a short discussion between the two governments, the village was ceded to the DPRA.&lt;br /&gt;

It is to be noted that a great monument was erected by [[GlitchTime]] during this Era, it was built in Netherite Debris, and was seen as a sign of friendship coming from the Cauldran people. He believed in his ideology, Chrasism, the defence of the freedom of city-states against nations, the ideal of fighting wars that seemed difficult to win, even if that meant dying for it. At the battle he was captured, and little was known of him save for the diary entries that were progressively discovered afterwards. Although still a humble Annemi, he had embraced a different way of life, he had seen the world outside and had come to tell his people about it, to show them the light of the outside world. It is know from elder councillors that he came to discuss changing the Annemi government, and after a heated debate he was appointed Noyan of Anneimd.&lt;br /&gt;

During Noyan times, Anneimd&#039;s borders expanded, but the town itself didn&#039;t, and the nations surrounding it never truly recognised said borders, as no development was seen in the area. These were nuntuqs, territories meant for sheepherding and nomading, so no real infrastructure or architectural development was seen in the area. Within the town itself a few changes took place, as a small yurt was built in the main plaza, an embassy of the Tsagaan Khanate, representing its close ties to the small town, and some stone huts with hay roofs were built on the higher part of town. The [[Holy Pyrannic Empire|Pyrannian]] officials approached Vita de Marirreguera about developing a train station for [[SouthRail]], and asked for the lands south of Anneimd. Vita de Marirreguera agreed to it if the Pyrannians were to finish his project for a wall, but though accepting the proposal, they never built the wall, and instead took extra territory from Anneimd and vandalised the historical monument of Cauldro-Annemi friendship built by GlitchTime.&lt;br /&gt;

He received aproval and praise by the Noyan, who supported his endeavours to further develop and renovate the area. Never before had the town seen development like it. The historical center was expanded, a great plaza was erected, a monument to the founding fathers of the nation, a Mistensist church was built, an arena to host [[Javalada|javaladas]], a castle, the entirety of what was claimed by the town was developed into a prosperous city, full of houses and surrounded by great walls. After he left, Vita appointed [[Paco Franco]], a Covilhan official, to overlook the city in his absence, keeping order in the newly-developed city.&lt;br /&gt;

The fact the Khanate demanded more attention from Khan Vita meant that he could not focus on the development of Anneimd, only ocassionally visiting the area when he needed to distract himself from the great problems of Central Cinder. This, in practice, meant that Anneimd remained unchanged after Tiagus&#039; reforms were done, and no more development was seen in the area, it also meant that Paco Franco had absolute control to do as he wished, since whatever complains that were made to him seemed to never reach the Khan. It is unknown whether this was for a lack of interest by Vita or if Franco&#039;s regime managed to keep the information from reaching outside the city. What is known is that his ruthlessness ended up causing the formation of a political groups which sought to dethrone the bloody dictator.&lt;br /&gt;
