Orcs are a nomadic people that moved with auroch herds: large, ancient bovids. They lived in the tundras and marshes where neither man nor beast dared to step foot. They loosely had subraces based on variations of tusks. They spoke a gutteral language that was easier to understand under a snowmask.
Etymology & Naming

Biology
They had broad, muscular builds with horizontally pointed ears. Both sexes had tusks; whether two on top or bottom, four, or none. Certain regions had tusks from the bridge of their nose, like a babirusa. Infants were born with soft stripes on their back. They lost them as they gained their tusks during puberty. Orcish skintones ranged from a light moss to a dark seaweed.
Culture
Stereotypes about orcs being a violent people stem from socioeconomics and integration into other societies. Orcs lacked affinity for magick and otherwise left the practice to women.
