War on CinderCivs utilizes a special set of rules as to allow for a dynamic progression that corresponds to roleplay and fair combat. The war system is designed to emulate a strategy game layout with arranged battles happening over tiles of various levels of development.

Prerequisites for War

There exists a small number of prerequisites for declarations and conduct of war on the server, those being an accurate tilemap of the attacking nation's territories, and a list of fighters meant to be shared with the war monitor. Without these, a state of war between nations technically does not exist.
