Arcane Calendar

The Arcane Calendar is the calendar used throughout various nations and regions on Cinder, especially those with presence of Arcane and Moonrisen worship.

The main time interval in the Arcane Calendar is a Dawn, which equals to 7 Moons; A Moon itself equals to exactly 24 hours. Every 30 Moons, a Rotation passes, though Rotations usually are excluded in timekeeping.

The highest measure of time in the Arcane Calendar is an Era, which last for an indefinite time. The Divine Ecclesiarchy of Aranna, being the overseers of the calendar decide when a new Era begins, which according to various statements happens when a world shattering or world changing event takes place on Cinder. An event like the formation of a hegemonic empire or its fall, a great war engulfing most of the world, or any occasion of roughly equal importance would advance the world into a new era
