Pavvaltaar is a remote monastery city located in the north of the Republic of Ritannia. Officially founded on March 30th, 2025 (IRL), by a figure known only as "The Prophet," Pavvaltaar serves as the home to the House of Hearth.
History
Founding and Early Settlement
North of Ritannia lies a barren mountainous region, long abandoned and untouched by people. For generations, the land remained desolate, avoided by travelers, and dismissed as uninhabitable. That changed on when a figure known only as The Prophet, arrived with a vision: to establish a sanctuary for those seeking salvation, purpose, and guidance.
Guided by her faith, The Prophet laid the first stones of what would become Pavvaltaar. At the city’s heart, she raised the Hall of the Divine Five with her own hands, an act that symbolized her devotion to the Five Ethereal Pillars, divine beings representing the beginning and end of all things. From this emerged the House of Hearth, a order dedicated to preserving the teachings of the Pillars and offering guidance to all who seek it.

Structures
Hall of the Divine Five
The Hall of the Divine Five is the oldest structure in Pavvaltaar, and the first building ever constructed within the monastery city. Erected by The Prophet herself, the Hall is dedicated to the Five Ethereal Pillars, divine entities believed to shape all aspects of existence: Aynor, Lunaris, Aerlion, Pavv, and Dicio. Each pillar represents a fundamental force:
- Aynor – Creation
- Lunaris – Knowledge
- Aerlion – Freedom
- Pavv – Fate
- Dicio – Death
Inspired by Shikagan architecture, the Hall is designed as a towering temple, planned to rise five stories, one for each of the Pillars. Each floor is dedicated to a different divine being and practice, aligned with the essence of its corresponding Pillar.
Floors:
- First Floor – The Chamber of Creation (Aynor) A place for art, crafting, and storytelling, celebrating beginnings and human potential.
- Second Floor – The Archive of Knowing (Lunaris) A vast library and meditation space, where knowledge is gathered, studied, and shared.
- Third Floor – The Walk of Winds (Aerlion) An open area used for physical training, music, and free expression.
- Fourth Floor – The Loom of Threads (Pavv) A chamber for reading omens, practicing divination, and studying the delicate strands of fate.
- Fifth Floor – The Silent Ascent (Dicio) A solemn, quiet chamber used for funerary rites, spiritual endings, and deep contemplation of mortality.
