Etymology
The name of Isllacuta comes from the name of the island, which is a simple formation of two words in South Mistensian: islla (island) and cuta (very cold), derived from cutu (harsh cold), refering to the coldness of the island, as most of it is covered in snow.
History
The first settlement on the island was Porllano which founded some months after the founding of New Anneimd as an effort to relocate some of the many settlers that were arriving at the city.
The 3rd of December 2026 the Isllacuta Abbey was completed, the main pyrannist religious congregation in New Anneimd.
