The Holy Pyrannic Empire was a nation located in the southern parts of Cinder, neighbouring Kurutuk, Durnath and Hollenberg to the South-East, Sanéa and Adraria to the North-East, Anneimd and Khupatan to the North-West and a Nauticcan colony to the South-West. The Holy Pyrannic Empire consisted of a collection of states federated under the Holy Pyrannic Emperor and was governed with a mix of theocracy, imperialistic and a federal system.

Loire
Loire was one of the first two states of the Holy Pyrannic Empire. The capital city, under the same name, of the Empire is located in this state. Loire was the most populous state in the Empire, having 8 citizens.
Loire was first settled by Swonki and Squashy, they both settled on and near the Loire mountain respectively. Swonki making an abbey on the mountain and Squashy making a large wheatfield on the base of it. Shortly after Rain joined the then called, Grand Papal States, and settled in a spruce forest west of the mountain, the area currently known as West-Loire or New Loire. The three sculpted the lands to their liking and developed the city to what it is today.
Ashenstrand
Ashenstrand was the other original state of the Holy Pyrannic Empire together with Loire.
Papal Territories
The Papal Territories were a special state. They were under direct jurisdiction of the Pope of Pyrannism. This state was made up of small parts of states which mostly contain religious buildings. Like the abbey, some churches but most notably the Southern Papal Territories. This area was developed by Chartographus, he made a Cathedral with plans to grow it to a full abbey.
Ganjaria
Ganjaria was the smallest state of the Holy Pyrannic Empire. It came to be as the location on which Jesse built his house was geographically too far from the urban area of Loire at the time that it was decided to make it it's own seperate state with Jesse as it's sole citizen. A few months passed, Jesse left Cinder and Ganjaria is left without any citizens. It was later absolved into the state of Loire.
Laia
Laia was made up of the first purchased lands of the Holy Pyrannic Empire. Formerly known as the Angelic Nation, Laia was purchased as the former owners were either inactive or lived somewhere else. The first Pyrannic settlement was created by Acolytius, he constructed a port near the delta of the Anneimd river. Hence why the state was called Port Laia at first. Laia was named after a Pyrannist Acolyte.
Yimirgola
Yimirgola was a special acquirement of land for the Holy Pyrannic Empire. The lands were left unclaimed and Swonki saw reason in removing the Yergola Walls and claiming the lands to create a new state for the Empire. Yimirgola has undergone major destruction and terraforming projects, reviving the mountain and destroying the walls took several days to complete but the land was transformed into a more pleasant, natural looking area.
Lavelle
Lavelle was the most recently added state and purchased land. The lands were previously known as Silly Company, under Yergolan control, semi-independent and later under Nauticcan control. Nauticca saw no reason in keeping the land for themselves and sold the land to the Holy Pyrannic Empire. Prime Minister Jay S. Zabel has had some minor plans for the region, but for now it remains undeveloped. It has recently become a part of the Kingdom of the Tauern.
Hollenberg (main article)
Hollenberg was one of the largest states of the empire, it joined the empire with Durnath under the Kingdom of the Tauern, which was then ruled by King Quintara. Hollenberg was the most mountainous area within the entire Holy Pyrannic Empire, it was even the location of the empire's highest peak - Mount Scneimunt. During it's entire time under the Empire it was ruled by Grand Duke Stefan II. Sagadyn, who was the land's longest reigning monarch. The final emperor - Ignatius of Almdudler comes from and still lives Hollenberg and during his reign resided in Hollenberger palace of Schönquelle instead of the traditional Castle of Seret in Loire. Hollenberg, despite being (together with Durnath) the latest and final addition to the Empire became extremely important, especially during the reign of Emperor Ignatius.
History
The Holy Pyrannic Empire was formed on the 22nd of March in 2024 by unification of two current states, Loire (was Grand Papal States) and Ashenstrand (was Free City of Ashenstrand).
The announcement by Pope Swonki I on the 22nd reads as follows:

As the world turns, and the sun rises on a troubled south, plagued by war and tyranny, a gleam of peace, security, and safety in the darkness has been grasped, just as Pyr intends for the world to be.
The Grand Papal State, the center of the Papacy and Orthodox Pyrannic Church, has worked with the Pyrannic believers of Ashenstrand to form a new state. One founded on Pyrannism, on freedom from tyranny, and on equality.
Together, they have formed the Holy Pyrannic Empire.
The Empire is composed of the 2 states of Loire and Ashenstrand, as well as the Papal Territories; the properties and regions under direct church authority.
The Empire is one of a confederacy of equal states, each with equal say in the operations of the Empire, under an Emperor, a position currently being voted on as we speak. The states are self governing, and maintain much of the national operations, whilst the imperial government organizes the execution of the law, foreign affairs, and leadership in war. The Imperial Diet, the Emperor, the States, and the Papacy, all work together to maintain everything.
