Geno Rodolfus is a Sanéan citizen and the current chief executive officer of the Sanéan Rail Group and the president of the Diryn Metro & Tram Company. Politically, he is a member of the Reformist Party of Sanéa, the Magister of Industry of the Commonwealth of Sanéa, and he also serves as a member of the Sanéan Justice System as a Junior Justice under Chief Justice Antoine Nouveau. He is also the current mayor of the Hirona District in Palermo and currently resides there, as the head of the noble Rodolfus family.
Early life
Geno Rodolfus was born in northern Palermo in the Rodolfus Lighthouse, to Micha Rodolfus and Dorothy Sangrino, two members of the Diryn middle class. Micha was the then-mayor of the newly created Hirona District when Geno was born, and Geno grew up watching his father's work in growing the wilderness of northern Palermo into a vibrant retail and shopping district. Geno was also exposed to Moonrisen teachings from a young age due to Micha's religious dispositions with the Syradine Church of Moonrise. Additionally, thanks to his family's wide use of railways to travel on holiday to locations such as Loire and Borinu, Geno's interests in railways grew at a very young age.
When Geno was 15, he left to study in Tintorini University, majoring in engineering and graduating at the age of 17. However, tragedy struck the young Geno's life during this time. His mother had fallen ill during his time in Tintorini and passed days prior to his graduation. Stricken with grief, Geno stayed in Tintorini for the following year, growing accustomed to Ritannian traditions and developing a further connection with Elendarr. However, just five years following his mother's death, his father, Micha, died in his sleep. Following this second personal tragedy, Geno forced himself to work towards upholding his family's legacy, hoping to accomplish his newfound dreams of further international transportation and dedicating his life's work to his late mother and father.
Career
Diryn Metro & Tram Company
He began working as president of the Diryn Metro & Tram Company at the bequest of Cyrus the Benevolent, but was soon promoted to President of the Sanéan Rail Group following Nykol Haartmann's journey to Marefort.
