The Holy Laiannic Empire is a nation located in the southern region of Cinder. It borders Durnath and Kurutuk to the south-east and Hellania to the south-west & north-west. The north-east was once the border between the HLE and the now dissolved Sanéan Imperium. The Pyrannic State of Loire resides within the HLE's borders independent to the empire. The Holy Laiannic Empire consists of the states of Laia, Valverde, Alfama, Ashenstrand, Hollenburg and Valerose federated under the Emperor Junk Zabel I and is governed under a Constitutional Monarchy. The Holy Laiannic Empire sees itself as the successor of the former Holy Pyrannic Empire through uniting the south once more.
